3D Secure/Verified by VISA Donation is a further developed version of Webshop: A donation is an amount of your choice, not a standard price or payment for standard goods/services. This solution can be ordered separately, or as an optional or stand-alone module to the 3D Secure Webshop.

The Donations solution is also suitable for humanitarian organizations, or for organizations with a membership subscription as the only product.

Webshop 3D Secure Donation allows both anonymous and registered monetary support. Registered support (that is, registering the e-mail address or other contact information) may be useful for organizations making regular appeals for support from previous benefactors.

The solution is as easy to install as Webpay, and is priced the same, however there is no service fee: The low price is an acknowledgment to the fact that the purchaser of this product is an humanitarian organization.

How it works:

The donor is presented with the introductorily text,
ending with the request for support.
A suggestive amount might already be placed in the payment amount box.
The donor either alters the suggested amount or accept it as it is, then click the

Dependent on whether the gift is anonymous or not, the donor is sent to a Thank You page or a page to be registered. The amount given is referred to on the top of either page. The registration might include a mailing address, so the organization might send a small token as their appreciation of the gift.
